Texas Instruments tasked Peak UpTime to generate online excitement over the announcement of a new product, the TI-Nspire. The TI-Nspire is the next generation of graphing calculators that now allow students to see multiple representations of a single problem, algebraic, graphical, geometric, numeric and written. Texas Instruments wanted to create a "sneak peak" of the features and benefits of TI-Nspire handhelds and give customers options for getting hands-on experience with the product.
Peak UpTime developed a new "MicroSite" for Texas Instruments to promote their product. The site was Flash and video based to allow for visual animations in order to better explain the product concept and its many features. The site also included a realistic product simulator that showed actual mathematic problems, solved in real time.
Peak UpTime provided the site's design and development, navigation, programming and traffic reporting.
With the new microsite in place, Texas Instruments launched the TI-Nspire on September 25, 2007. The reaction to the microsite has been well beyond TI's expectations.
